RE:  Driving Directions

From Opelousas :

Drive East to Livonia .  Turn right at the second red light, then go south about 10 miles to the stop sign.  Turn left at stop sign, (Rosedale Road) then go 1.7 miles.  The house is on the Right about 300 yards past the West Baton Rouge Parish Line.

From Lafayette:

Drive East to the Grosse Tete, Rosedale , Maringouin Exit.  (This should be the second exit after you get off the long bridge.)  Go straight threw the stop sign and then turn left at the next little cross way by the interstate. You’ll see what I mean.  Next go about 2 miles to stop sign, then take a Right on the Rosedale Road. The house is 1.7 Miles on the Right about 200 yards past the West Baton Rouge Parish Line Sign.

From Baton Rouge I-10:

Drive West across the New Bridge past Port Allen to the Next Exit.  This is about 12 miles past Port Allen.  Look for the Grosse Tete, Maringouin, Rosedale Exit. Veer off right and go about 2 miles to stop sign, then take a Right on the Rosedale Road . The house is 1.7 Miles on the Right about 200 yards past the West Baton Rouge Parish Line Sign.

From Baton Rouge Airline Hwy, Hwy 190, The Mall, Sam’s or Old Bridge:

Drive West across the Old Bridge past the Hwy 415 cut off.  Right past the little Hump Bridge, you will see a little road to the left Hwy 1145.  Turn left on 1145 go about a mile to stop sign.  Turn right at stop sign (Rosedale Road) and go about 10 miles.  It’s the only house on the left once you’re in NoWhere.  If you hit the Parish Line or Rosedale , You’ve gone to far.  Were 1 mile from the Rosedale Intersection and 300 yards from the Parish line.

Note:  

Coming from I-10 or Livonia (Hwy 190) you should be on the Baton Rouge or East side of Bayou Grosse Tete.  There is a road on both sides, you need to be on Hwy 411 Not Hwy 76.  If your driving fast you won’t see it. The house is about 500 feet off the road surrounded by woods.  There’s a little house or out door kitchen in the front. That’s the only thing you can see.  Just look for the West Baton Rouge Parish Line Sign and you’ll be with in a couple hundred yards.
